Do I need an account to use Rave Compass?

No. You can use Rave Compass without signing up. We generate a random token on your device to keep your preferences.

What data do you collect and why?

We collect only what’s necessary to recommend events (e.g., your artist likes and—if enabled—approximate location). Data is anonymized and processed according to our Privacy Policy.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Email us at thomas.altenburger@hotmail.com with a short description, app version, and steps to reproduce. We love feedback! More features coming soon.

I can’t hear music previews.
  • Check your internet connection and device volume.
  • Verify system Silent Mode is off.
  • Restart the app. If it persists, contact support.
Location reminders don’t trigger.
  • Ensure location access is allowed: Settings → Privacy → Location Services.
  • Background refresh must be enabled for Rave Compass.
  • If still not working, email us your device model and iOS version.
